Juniors Christmas Casual Programme
Applications are invited to submit their expression of interest for our Juniors Christmas Casual Programme prior to 1 October each year.
The Juniors Programme is designed to help our youth start their first job in a safe fun environment, where participants will be exposed to all shop floor aspects of retail.
Experience is not necessary, but we do need a commitment from you to complete the Juniors Programme. Applicants must be available for all shifts during the month of December. We cannot accept your application if you are going away Christmas week, or you have events on which will conflict with your rostered shifts.
Participants will always have a team member in store with them and will be supporting the sales team on the shop floor.
Duties
- unpacking Christmas stock, labelling, refilling, tidying excess stock
- greeting customers as they enter the store
- answering customer queries
- sales supporting the Christmas Campaign in store
- some register POS till work
- store cleanliness (vacuuming, dusting)
- assist in merchandising
Hours
11am-2pm for approx 8-10 shifts in December, starting first weekend of December
(Friday, Saturday & Sunday).
The successful candidate
- be punctual
- good presentation: Smart Casual - no sports shoes, no ripped jeans, no singlet/ crop tops. Opt for a good condition jeans/pants and a linen shirt/top. It can get hot in December, we want you to be comfortable, you will be bending over working with stock, so keep that in mind.
- good command of the english language in written and oral skills required
- able to take direction and trust us to look after you!
